As for Civil war in the USA: No, if the US Government was deposed who would it be replaced by?

Civil unrest: If the US Government remains largely inactive, then yes!

If there is a global economic collapse, there will be about a 6 to 8 week period in which people living in America will face severe food shortages. So picture millions of people with no way to get food. Its not civil war so much as it is temporary insanity. All we need to do to combat that is buy a little extra food and some emergency water.

No chance of Civil War in America...Not yet... Maybe 20 years later ...Possibly, what with the changing demographics and the decline in global economy that has already come home since last several years.

I dont think the chances are very high. If the global economy collapsed i dont know about a civil war.. maybe WW3 and we all just die due to nuclear warfare. (;
