so im 33 weeks pregnant and last night after me and my husband were done having sex he noticed blood so i went to the bathroom and went and there was some...not a lot though. didn't freak out much, i just figured he was to rough.(plus with it being christmas eve i didn't want to be in the ER all night) then this morning when i went to the bathroom there was still a little blood when i wiped but nothing more, it has stopped now but now im real nauseous and keep getting light cramping. is this okay or should i go to the hospital?

Hi. It is normal to have light spotting after sex or even an internal exam. Your cervix is very sensitive and a little bit of rough stimulation can cause the bleeding. An irritated cervix will cause cramping too. As long as the bleeding it isn't bright red and heavy with horrible cramping or clotting (can't get comfortable, pain won't go away etc), and the baby is moving normally then I'd say your fine, probably just from the sex. If you just don't feel right about it and want to get checked out, give your local hospital OB unit a call or just stop in. I had an internal exam last week, I'm 37 weeks pregnant.. and I spotted off/on for 2 days with cramping too. They said it was normal, I went in to L&D to get evaluated :)
Best of luck to you.
Im exactly the same as you.... 33 weeks with first baby and have had a really easy pregnancy so far and people have been telling me for weeks that they think he`s going to be early because he`s so low down but he`s always been low and midwife has said that everything is fine and so is the damp feeling. Its only because the baby is pressing on things down there. Try not to worry too much im sure your mind will be put to rest tomorrow. Best of luck!
Call your Dr. If your Dr is not on call one of the associate MD's will be. That is what they get paid for and they will not be angry you called. Medicine never takes a holiday.
sounds like he could of gave you abrasion haven sex or could be sign of labour as long as your baby kicking should be fine
