I have been experiencing the most awful back pain anytime I'm up and about..(I have done so much cleaning and organizing today) but it eases up a little bit when I try to relax. Are these braxton hicks in my back or is labor starting?
also....a small increase in discharge but not much!

It could possibly be labor....When you are up and about it usually makes labor progress....If it still comes when you relax, I would start timing them....When you get to 5 min apart I would definitely call the Dr. to have him evaluate the situation! Relax and take it easy for a while! & Good Luck!
Another thing to keep in mind is that if the pain gets to bad to eat or drink fluids, you need to go to the hospital. My girlfriend back labored for 3 days before my son was born. On the second day we went to the hospital thinking that it was time. They told her that she was 2cm and wasn't progressing and to go home. The next day she was in worse pain and could barely eat, drink or get out of bed. She didn't want to go to the hospital because she thought they would tell her the same thing. I made her go for fear that she was getting dehydrated. When we got there, she was still 2cm. They said that they would admit her because of her troubles eating and drinking. They said that they didn't want to let her labor for too much longer because she would get more dehydrated, which would be bad for the baby. They got her on some fluids and started the pitocin to speed things up. The next morning i was a proud father of a beautiful baby boy. Point of my story is to pay close attention to the other signs too. If there is anything that could be of concern, call your doctor or go to the hospital and let them figure it out.
I had back labor, and it started out feeling that way too.
Sounds like back labor.
