I have a 5 cigar travel humidor by humi-care.
Do I need to moisten the humidifier?
It is a flat round disc with crumbling green stuff in it (the back is open).
How often do i need to replace this?
YES!
Depends, but generally no
If you are using it as your primary humidor, you should put a few drops of distilled water in there.
If you are using it as a travel-dor, than no - it is air and water tight so if your cigars are kept properly to begin with, you should be fine.
you may need to go get a new tab (for lack of a better word for them). my [tab] is aluminum with clay inside. need to soak in water for a bit. can buy these at a smoke shop.. not like they wear out but, if the inside is crumbling...
yes! use distilled water
