Why are there so many man-made rules and assumptions in the Church? Is their authority figure really genuine or judging?.. as there are several afflictions that see things differently but is yet wanting to control people especially in accord to following their opinion/take on something.
Don't get me wrong, but as a fellow Christian, my current church is very big on authority and the leadership levels/pyramid. I'm not so fond of that especially when the leadership opportunities are not for everyone but is for unreal people that simply has connections to the current leaders (usually by blood). They completely stress "submitting to authorities" that it might even be their motto but what I realized is that even other religious organizations are very big on that. Is this something that all of them have in common or is it just the ones I've been to so far (and I've been to a lot!)?
The reason why I would ask this is because I don't believe that this should be what the church should suppose to be doing. Definitely not imposing authority over one another or putting oneself above others. If we are all equal and uniquely designed in God's eyes, why are the church leaders stressing how higher-up they are than us? I know that I understand so much more about the bible than they do and I really love and can hear God and yet I do not try to higher myself above others. But what I am kinda irritated at is the fact that most of these "rules and authorities" is what drives people out of the church and that to me is really sad. Is there a church that might not be so strict on authorities (usually I would think this is because we are an asian church and considering how big on respect the asian culture is) and should I stay with the same church?

This is one of the main reasons why, unfortunately, I no longer participate in organized religion. I don't condemn people that want to be a part of that kind of church going experience, but it's not for me- and it sounds like it's not for you. Probably time to find a different church. There are a lot of non-denominational churches out there that you would probably be more comfortable worshiping at. Try a small church. Big churches are into money and power, that's what I've observed anyway.
Good luck!
