Alaskan malamute X collie puppy problems!?
my family just adopted a puppy from a family who weren't actual breeders, anyways he is 2 months old and he is always whining when he is left alone, he wont walk on a leash and he bites and chews almost everything, we try to say NO and tap him on the head lightly when he chews stuff but he just starts barking and whining and sometimes growling, what should we do?

It takes TIME and effort to train a dog, it won't happen over night or next week or even next month.
Repetition repetition repetition, and then more. Too bad you didn't do research before you bought the puppy as to just how much work they are, it's like having a toddler at the terrible two stage running amok. Cage train the puppy asap, it will keep him safe from chewing things that could harm him.
