Find x,y, and z:
x(x+y+z)=6
y(x+y+z)=12
z(x+y+z)=18
You also know that y=2x and z=3x. If you use these values in the first equation you get x(x+2x+3x)=6
This is x(6x)=6 or 6x^2=6. x^2=1 and x=1.
You can use this same approach to solve for y and z.
