If anyone on her has a Alpha Omega Elite convertible car seat , i have a question. . how do you install it rear-facing? Did any of you have problems ? It seems like the strap that attaches to the LATCH system only holds the foot of the car seat secure, and the back is free to move ..how can you prevent this? It's also not reclined enough even though it wont recline anymore...are you allowed to put rolled towels under the base just like on an infant car seat base? need help please!

check out car-seat.org to ask this question to CPSTs.
I think this is the hardest seat to install! And yes, the LATCH only secures the foot. The back should be able to 'tip' a bit forward, and maybe some side-to-side. This is normal, and good. I used a towel under one of my seats, the other a pool noodle to level the seat. This is a great seat, save yourself some headaches though! Keep your child rear-facing to the max allowed by the seat. My almost 4 is rear-facing, the weight limit is 40 pounds on his seat to a much safer rear-face. The state 'laws' are not the 'law' on 1 yr / 20 pound, this is just the minimum level of safety for a baby. The seats allow the maximum level of safety up to 40 pounds rear-facing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2DVfqFhseo
