Which is better and why? Intel i5 has 2 cores so thats like 4.8 ghz, and amd 2.0 ghz would be 8.0 ghz... So what would you reccomend to me? i play some games but not call of duty type...
Also if you can be extra nice and tell me why ATI or Nvidia is better for 512 integrated graphics?
Update:im on a laptop

Cores on a computer don't really work that way.
Imagine that the computer processor is a highway. The cars is the data being sent, the cores are the lanes on the highway, the Ghz is the speed and the traffic jam and grid-lock is the computer not responding and crashing.
Now, on the two-lane highway, if there are too many cars, there is going to be a grid-lock or traffic jam. Regardless of how fast the cars are going, everything is going to slow down, because there aren't enough lanes for the cars.
On the four-lane highway, even if the cars are travelling slower, more cars are getting through and not causing grid-lock, because there are more lanes, and the highway has a higher capacity.
So, in short, more lanes means more cars can travel on the highway, even if the speed limit is slower on the four-lane than the two-lane. However, if only one car is travelling on the highway, the car will be better off travelling on the fast highway.
It doesn't really matter whether you have ATi or NVidia, though we would be able to tell you which one is better if you tell us specifically what each card is.
