AMD (Advanced Micro-Devices) processors are economical and they use less battery power than Intel. Intel processors on the other hand, pack a bigger punch and have a slightly bigger FSB (Front Side Bus) than AMD. AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-50 is equivalent to the Intel Core 2 Duo E4000 (approximate)
My opinion: if you want max battery life, go with AMD; if you want power, go with Intel
Well depending on the speed of your processor so probably between a 6-8. Intel has faster processors right now; not only because of speed (GHz) but also, they have slightly better architecture (kinda like a building). Making them faster. On the flip side tho AMD makes cheaper processors.
But if you use the AMD processor, you must have "the special fan" for it. Because the AMD processor is too hot as working. And you must use the right motherboard with BUS that supports the BUS of the AMD processor ! And the right BUS for RAM.
amd. plus alot of the times u are paying for the brand name intel. like buying an ipod. u can spend 200 on an ipod or spend 100 on a 3rd party that is better holds more and works with almost everything
processers there isnt as much of a gap tho but amd i think is better for many diffrent reasons.
your processer id rate a 5 or a 6 because its kind of slow and has half the L2 cache of the rest of the dual core turion processers i had a Tl-56 and it was pretty fast 1.8ghz vs your 1.6 and 1mb L2 cache vs your 512kb but iv used it and its decent enough for normal things like internet word perfect that stuff
AMD is built for gaming and speed. Generally i prefer AMD processor . I used both intel and amd and found that amd is much better. 8/10 for your processor

AMD and INTEL are the same goods.

It ranks 2 compared to Intel C2D 1, also runs hotter and uses more battery;

8 out of 10, im using amd for many years, compare with intel , amd is great in gaming and internet but problem with cooling system, i recommend amd
7 because it lost 2 for not being intel and 1 because there is no such thing as perfect.
Its really a personal thing, i like intel tho
