An idea for law enforcement? Worst case scenario?
Swat teams are good of course, but what if the unthinkable happened. What if a large portion of the populace formed an armed insurrection against local governments. One way to suppress these rioters would be to have helicopters armed to the teeth with heavy machine guns and a small cache of thermobaric weapons. That is in the case of a worst case scenario. I mean tear gas can only do so much and would unlikely deter a mob of thousands of dangerous armed civilians.
