1) B - 'Hot' is a more extreme version of 'warm', and a 'felony' is a more extreme crime than a 'misdemeanor'.
2) A - When something is 'fluent' it is easier for it to be 'flowing', and when something is 'fragile' it is easier for it to be 'broken'. This one I'm less sure of than the other two though.
3) D - You use a 'gaff' to catch a 'fish', and you use a 'net' to catch a 'butterfly'.
1. Warm is just a different degree of hot. They are the same thing, but one is more intense. I would think that B would be correct because these are both types of crimes, but felony is a worse degree of an offense.
2. If you are fluent, your language abilities flow. So, they are similar. B is out. C is too ambiguous Out of d and a, I think D is correct.
3. a gaff is a hook used to catch fish; so D is correct
D is the answer for the first one...dunno about the other 2 sorry
