Animal technician? (Zoo animals)?
Ok, so I know for sure in college I wanna major in and get my BS in Biology. I was thinking more down the animal route and I want to know anything about how to become a zoo veterinarian. So if anyone knows anything, please tell me. Like about things I'd need to study, degrees, anything at all. Thank you.

Once you earn your Bachelor of Science degree (which will take you 4 years), you would than apply to vet school. Your grades must be excellent and you must also have hands on experience, which you would earn through volunteer work or internships. Vet school is highly competative, and harder to get into than medical school to be a doctor for humans. If you get into vet school, you would attend for an additional 4 years. You might have to put in more time to specialize in exotics at a zoo. Vet tech school is different, usually only a 2 year program, but it might be longer once again to specialize in exotics.
