So I've had quite a few paranormal experiences, some bad, some good.. and since Ive moved out of my parents house and in my own, this house is creepy too with weird feelings, footsteps, unexplainable things happening etc.. I have never seen anything though. Everything that goes on, we never directly see it. However, yesterday my boyfriend saw a blue orb in our bathroom. Now, I have pets (a dog and cat) and I have always felt like they would warn me (not even that this is a bad spirit, i get a good feeling) but you know, when Im in bed I always figure I got my pets, if something weird is going on they will let me know. But since I have been reading up on some paranormal experiences, people have been saying that it really had no affect on their pets when there were orbs floating by. Like my cat I think would go nuts (just like any other cat I think) if it saw a floating light randomly (think laser pointers and cats lol).. I just always thought animals were more perceptive in those ways, but I could be wrong.
Any feedback?

I used to live in a house with a ghost, its a bit scarey when youre on your own and hes walking up the stairs or slamming doors, hiding your keys, stealing something out of your pocket! But seriously, its nothing to worry about, just get on with it, it's kind of cool also, I used to have a bit of a laugh with the one I lived with as it displayed a definite sense of humour.
You'll be fine. Orbs are kind of weird, I thought they were only visible through infra-red (night vision). Still don't worry about it, embrace it if you can. You are the only one that can define if your experience is good or bad, its all about perspective.
Dogs and cats have some senses that are much much better than us. However, ghosts and spirits can only be seen by humans because they are imaginary and cats and dogs lack the imagination needed to see them.
Humans are very good at taking imaginary things and bringing them into the real world, at least as far as our own minds can see. That is to say, we are able to fool ourselves into believing things that aren't there.
Usually, a dog or cat go beserk when they see, smell, or hear things like mice or cockroaches in the walls, or something along that nature. You can't see, smell or hear them, but they can.
A lot of animals don't really seem to think much of it unless it was a human figure. It could easily look like a car light to an animal.
when i was 12 i lived in a haunted trailor..we found out its name was Mama..or so it chose to be called.. i say it as it could be male or female..moved stuff put our dog in the top bunk of a bunk bed.... but anyway.. it was more than a nuisance it was vendictive, very.. mashed in my cats tail, etc.. we also found out that the people that had the trailor before us were big into the occult.
my one cat would just snuggle close to me, while the other cat would freak the heck out, hissing, jumping growling. me and my sisters would sing jesus love me and BIBLE and the doors would slam, lights would turn off and the cat would calm down..the cat that got its tail smashed was the calm one..the other, got skinned in the tub, explain that. me and my sisters found her. she was alive, the vet fixxed her, but she was never the same again, within a month she was dead.
i think it depends on the spirit living with you. nothing ever happened to the dog, other than his flying lesson. we started sleeping with our bibles open, different places all the time..our room would be fine, the rest of the house you could hear things sliding (couch, tv,etc) mirrors smashing.
i honestly believe if it werent for us kids strong belief in jesus and him protecting us, we would have been like the cats. aww to have the innocence of a child again huh?
They certainly are. I once lived in a haunted house (one of several, lol) and the cat that lived there would run up and down the stairs, as if chasing something. When I saw for myself what it was, it was a ghost. There was an old lady who would walk up and down the stairs, from my room to the hall.
When I'm up late at night I sometimes see slight movements or whatnot out of the corner of my eye. This usually happens right around three in the morning. I chalked it up as my imagination at first until I noticed that my cats see it too.
My Basset Hound saw ghost
Animals are more susceptible to the paranormal then humans. Why I have no concrete idea.
well most of the animals don't respond to such things. they may respond to natural clematises but not these.
yes animals sence alot more than we do.
