I live in that area and good luck with that. There aren't any super horsey colleges around here. UF does have an equestrian program. Ocala is over-run with people that have years of horse experience and are jobless unless you're working minimum wage.
Horses are not money makers. Most people involved in the horse business are lucky to break even at the end of the year. They are money holes and money eater, not business enterprises. Even in the racehorse business money isn't guaranteed to be made.
There aren't any jobs that pay very well with horses, to be honest. Even vets don't make as much as we think when you compare it to their student debt, unless they spend extra years becoming specified in a specific field such as surgery or podiatry, etc.
Farriers make a decent living, but it's also a very physically intensive job and if you're hurt, you don't make money because you can't shoe. You'll also be self-employed and between the taxes and the higher cost of health insurance, you aren't making a lot of money. As a farrier you can't forgo health insurance.
Same with being a barn owner, etc.
Horses cost money, it's better to have a guaranteed income to enjoy your horses than one where you're scrimping to afford the feed bill on one horse.
Take my advice, get a normal job and make a good living then have extra money to enjoy your personal horses with. You'll find if you're working a job that you're around horses all the time, you aren't going to want to be around yours as much.
I have a feeling you're a young teenager. Making even $500/week isn't going to cut it in the real world with rent, car insurance, health insurance, groceries, utility bills, property taxes, horse expenses, normal year to year expenses, etc so don't consider that a lot of money.

Look at CampusEquestrian.com. While it's mainly a source for IHSA, it will guide you to schools that have equine programs or teams that you can then specifically search on the schools website to find out about the program. Don't always assume getting a degree in an equine-related major will lead to an equine job! The manager at my barn only had an associates degree in business administration, but she had experience in training, teaching, she showed very high on the A-circuit and did some AQHA. She volunteered at racetracks grooming and hot walking, helped organize clinics and shows, and also rode IHSA in college. She beat out the girl that had only a few years of lessons and a Bachelors in Equine Farm Management.
Experience and networking will always get you further in the job you want!

Nova university for law, any florida state school should be good enough for Psych, actually anywhere is usually good enough for psych, so you have a lot of choices.
