I'm kind of stunned by this question ... where are we living, Nazi Germany? Why on earth would I have a problem with interracial relationships, either in life or in fiction? Are you in the US? Because this isn't usually a question that comes up at all where I live (the UK). If someone turned around and said they had a problem with people of different races dating, the chances are they'd get shouted down and called a racist, and nobody would consider it even in the slightest bit controversial to include an interracial relationship in a book, on TV, in a film, or anything else, so this question just wouldn't come up.
