Halloween's a week away, and this past year i've packed on a few extra pounds (around 5-10, essentially just enough to show) so i'm looking for a couple tips and tricks to drop down on the scale before the big party.

Don't fast...
For a few days, eat lean protein (eggs, turkey, chicken, tuna, legumes); eat only complex high fiber carbs-- loads of green & yellow veggies in particular (as many as you want)-- salads, veggie soups; go very low fat & eat lots of fruit. Season things with lemon juice or balsamic vinegar. Cut down on salt, use things like pepper & garlic powder (not garlic salt). Fat free yogurt is okay too, and lowfat milk.
Drink about a gallon of water all day-- just fill a gallon in the morning and nurse it all day. If you don't like it plain, put Crystal Lite in it or something.
Avoid things like rice, potatoes, pasta, mayo/oil/butter/dressings (just some fat free if you must), and sweets (no soda, no sports drinks, no candy, and if you drink coffee just use equal and non-dairy creamer).
And exercise every single day-- even if just walking or dancing in your home. An hour, even if you stand there and march in place while watching TV.
Do this from now till Halloween and you will be amazed not only how you lose weight & lose bloating/water weight (cutting the salt & eating all that fiber & water will just flush out the system like a charm), but also how much energy you will have by then.
Fast for 24 hrs...and then again a feww days later.......walk for an hr while fasted
