Try balancing in posse while on releve, hold as long as you can before coming down.
Make sure you have clean singles before you try doubles!
Spotting helps too, pick something on a wall, such as a picture, or yourself in the mirror, and spot it!
Alright, here's the thing that helped me to get my doubles! Pull up while you do your pirouettes, or any sort of turn for that matter! Imagine that there's a string attached to the top of your head, and someone's pulling it. That's helped me more than you'll ever believe!
My best advice is to SPOT! Always! Spotting makes the biggest difference I have seen. I teach younger girls at my studio and the ones that can do their picque turns (only because they're not up to pirouette level) the best are the ones that spot!
For the most part pirouettes are mainly balance, so if you can work on improving your balance, that will help too. (:
