Yes! How did they figure out how to do that? I think it should be illegal. I generally mute the commercials, a habit I picked up from my dad, who I think is doing it to make some sort of statement about consumerism, or how much he pays the cable company. What a nutball!

Yeah, I hate when that happens and you have to get up to turn the TV down, but when the show you're watching comes back on, you have to turn it up again.

I especially hate the commercial where everybody sticks there head out a window and yells:

"IT'S MY MONEY AND I NEED IT NOW!"

And you said a mouth full! Sure most of them are a waste of time/money....Besides why are they always louder then the show anyway? Sometimes the show is so low you can hardly hear it but the all the commercial are extremely loud. Someone needs to tell them we hear them yet we are ignoring them...Deafening us will not work.........Blessings Yahoo

Oh, Lord, YES. And I hate the fact that when you set the sound levels on your television to cut the commercials audio, then you cannot hear the regular programming dialog.

I hit the mute button and then vow to never buy a damn thing from Vonage everytime the commecial comes on.

Ya I know! I have to turn down the volume, and then when it goes back to the show I have to turn it up again! Its annoying!
