SOMEBODY thinks they are or they would not have called them a delicacy :) That does not mean that you or I would like them. However, I have a very open mind when trying food and have found I like almost everything someone else calls a delicacy.

Caviar is delicious. But a delicacy is a delicate (or rare) food. So something can taste like a camel's *** and still be a delicacy, like camel's *** for instance.

I have yet to find one that is scrumptious! But, that is personal taste. Some people have different meanings of delicious delicacies.

Taste is subjective, what one person likes another won't. Also categorizing what is a delicacies and what isn't is a matter of opinion.
