I'm not sure about tampenensis, but truffles are illegal - depending on how closely customs check them. Magic truffles are not truffles, they are mushrooms that grow below the surface; this has caused enough confusion in the past for people to get away with a loophole but they ARE mushrooms.
Trurider is exaggerating, prosecutions for possession of magic mushrooms are rare in Australia and are dealt with by fines. Supplying is a more serious offense but again, prosecutions are still rare.
They are not native to Australia so in addition to the fact that they are an illegal drug you would also be liable for bringing in an non-indigenous species that may damage Australian crops. You would be facing serious time in jail.
