Artificial intelligence pathology?
If an AI (human and above intelligence) were created and dealt with its surroundings with reason and logic, what reason would it have to go on a murder rampage? What do you think?
Update:It is given a conscience. That's like asking what do WE do. We don't have any ORIGINAL purpose besides mating. I guess that's where booze or religion comes in.

Depends on what the AI does. Since you didn't tell anything about it should devoid of will or an objective, therefor it woudn't go on a murder rampage since it'd do nothing at all. :P
