Ej: When I arrived at the bus stop the bus had already left.
1st acción - the bus left
2nd acción - I arrived at the bus stop
el auxiliar "HAD" se utiliza tambien para el pasado perfecto continuo Ej: "I had been interrogated"
pero para el pasado continuo se utiliza "WAS" and "WERE"+ (VERBO+terminacion ING)
1ª oración Pasado simple y 2ª oración pasado continuo sale?
I killed mosquitos last night.
I was killing mosquitos last night.
They ate bananas for breakfast.
They were eating bananas for breakfast.
Mario and Ana danced all night.
Mario and Ana were dancing all night.
She loved you.
She was loving you.
We worked overtime.
We were working overtime.
You cooked meat and potatoes for lunch.
You were cooking meat and potatoes for lunch.
Santiago ran in a marathon.
Santiago was running in a marathon.
Mary slept all day.
Mary was sleeping all day
I walked two miles last week.
I was walking two miles last week
Anita and Laurita played at the park.
Anita and Laurita were playing at the park.
I ate, She ate, we ate, etc
Presente: am, is, are . Pasado: was (singular I, she, he, it), were (plural you(tu y uds), we, they) Futuro: este es el mas facil para todos los pronombres es “will”...
“Mary was sleeping”
