So why can't he Barrett Foa be gay? Do the laws of time and space bind him to heterosexuality?

IIRC, he is the puppeteer for a closeted gay character in Avenue Q, but that alone is not an indication of one's sexuality.

No effect on me what so ever! I do have to laugh when I hear the nay sayers complain that people will want to marry their pets next. I love my dog very much, but marry him? No thanks. I also get real tired of the same nay sayers complaining that allowing gays to marry will open the door to people wanting to marry children, polygamy, etc. Those two argument can be put to rest quickly by making marriage betweenTWO HUMANS, of MAJORITY AGE (age 18 and up?), and BOTH PEOPLE CONSENTING TO THE MARRIAGE and not related to each other by blood (to put to rest the argument that some may want to marry thier sister or brother). However, I'm afraid that won't even make the nay sayers happy. I just don't understand why some people have a problem with two people wanting to be happy.
