We have no idea where you live. And for your birthday, why would you want to settle for a bean burger?

Most chain places have vegetarian options. Most burger joints have a version of a 'bean burger'. But rather than support giant corporate chains, why not try a local joint that makes a mean spring veggie lasagna?

you didn't mention what city you live in. i don't think any big chain restaurants do these things well, so it comes down to where you live. try happycow, its not a perfect database for these things by any stretch, but its getting better all the time.

a general rule of thumb is the cooler the part of town the restaurant is in, the more likely they are to do vegetarian well.

hmm, It would help if we knew your area. There is an awesome one in downtown raleigh, NC. The remedy... mmmm. Anyway! Try denny's... the one near me serves a vegan burger. I think red robin does, and they also have a vegan bun. Most Mexican places can easily be vegan as most I go to don't use lard, call ahead to find out. :)

in simple terms order veg*n dishes for you and tell the staff which you have a wierd allegric reaction to meat and fish. That way they are going to make helpful that no meat or fish will pass into the dishes you order in case of being sued.
