Aren't Christians letting evil, atheistic science get in the way of true belief? Many will gladly accept that the Earth is 6,000 years old "because the Bible says so", so how hard is it to be consistent and just accept that the Bible says the earth is flat and covered by a dome?
If those atheist science worshipers don't like it, they can pay for you to take a ride on a "space" rocket and prove you wrong.

Update:also Revelation 1:7 7Look, he is coming with the clouds,
and every eye will see him,
Update 3:I don't but it Craig. It is much simpler to just take the Bible at its word and think that the Bible writers believed the earth was flat.
If you interpret things figuratively, then who knows what they mean for sure.
Update 5:Craig, I also consulted several different translations and none say other than the tree was visible from the whole of the earth.

The Bible doesn't say the Earth is 6000 years old.
The Bible doesn't say the earth is flat and covered by a dome.
The Bible often uses figurative language. God is said to have "wings" when in fact God is a spirit being with no physical body at all -- let along "wings". The earth is said to have "four corners" though it's not square.
The Daniel 4:10-11 passage can be translated a number of ways that don't require the tree to be seen from everywhere in the world simultaneously. Biblical Hebrew is a dead language that is difficult to translate accurately.
If you do your research properly you will find that the reference to the "flat earth" comes from the Roman Catholics.
Please show us the Book, Chapter and Verse that show the Bible actually teaches the earth is flat.
IF YOU CAN.
