It was at its full effectiveness 2 1/2 months ago
Usually, birth control is effective immediately if you begin taking it during your period, it takes 7 days to become effective otherwise. Many doctors recommend waiting a month. And it is also recommended that you take combination pills (progesterone and estrogen) within 3 hours (if you take them at noon today, you should take them by 3 tomorrow) and 1 hour for mini-pills (progesterone only pills). If taken accurately every time, they are 99.9% effective. However, many things can make them ineffective such as antibiotics, St John's Wort, vomiting or diarrhea. Make sure any medications or activities you participate in do not disrupt the effectiveness (by activities I mean, for example, if you like drinking alcohol on a Friday night and end up throwing up that you took your pill early enough that the pill is not then thrown up during your partying).
Birth control is also really great at preventing pregnancy but not STDs. Make sure that you and your partner are tested (many STDs are asymptomatic so you will not be able to tell if you or your partner has one just by looking at the genitals). If you do not know your STD status or your partner's, it is a great idea to still be using a condom, despite the birth control pills. Good luck!
It sounds like you've been very good at taking it. I don't know this brand but if it's a form of the combined pill or even the progesterone only (mini) pill you are fully protected from pregnancy after the first week or two. If in doubt ask your doctor or even google the brand, but please remember that the pill won't protect you from STD's!
All the best x
You are allowed a few hours leeway when taking your pills.
