As a black person i would say i am for which ever one is sensible at best in helping black people with their problems. As of now black integration has been a major disappointment. While every other group realized their potential as a people and is networking and advancing for the prosperity of themselves my people are on the losing end in terms of power and resources. My people do not integrate to support and prosper themselves but to fit in only to further lose and destroy themselves. Take for instances the integrational state of black Europeans and black Brazilians.
So my question is which one are you or which do you support more,
And is it sensible?

Omg! I agree with you 100%. This is what I have been trying to express to ppl but they never understand. I feel that black ppl should unite and grow together. We have alot of issues that should be fixed. But unfortunately instead of trying to fix them most black ppl just run off and be accepted by other races which is a very cowardly move. I'm going to stand my black ppl regardless and will try my best to unite us more and more. Too bad slavery did a lot of damage to our society. Smh.
I think it's interesting, because my grandmother grew up in the segregated South, and when I was younger I remember her telling me that one upside of segregation was that Black people were more united and worked together better because we had no one else to rely on. She also pointed out the fact that all classes of Black people stayed in the same city, so she talked about the Blacks with more money, the ones who would own the markets in the town and the little stores and stuff catered to the Blacks. The Blacks who had no money or anything still had those examples to look up to, whereas now Blacks who get any money often move to areas with less Black people, leaving poorer areas more filled with Blacks who can't afford to get out. It seems to have created a certain dislike of other Blacks from upper/middle class areas.
It's BAD too. I'm from an upper class "white" city and the second I mentioned this in my African American studies class, it's like my professor has decided to dislike me. She's from Harlem, and even though she's a professor, I feel like she even has this internalized idea that certain Blacks who are more "bourgeoisie" aren't "real" black people in some way. Even though she is educated and a professor, there is still this distrust amongst the classes of Blacks that isn't good. As if growing up around Whites makes me some white worshiping tap dancing "Uncle Tom" with no good perspective to contribute to the Black struggle. Why exclude certain classes of Blacks from "blackness" unless being poor and struggling is the ONLY way you can really be Black? If so, then how will we ever leave that box? We wouldn't. :/
Integration. Separation is illogical as it would break up many homes and friendships.
