okay so i got my braces off and to get the swelling down, my ortho recommended diluting some hydrogen peroxide to kill the bacteria. i did it and it worked a lot, but it made some white patches above 3 of my teeth, but i didn't worry because they didn't hurt and they faded fast and were only there for 5-10 minutes. but that was yesterday and i woke up this morning, and where the patches were was bleeding, and there was a bunch of dead skin around it.
they hurt really bad, i called my dentist and he said that it may be due to an allergic reaction? they stopped bleeding, but they look really nasty and hurt like hell!! is there anything i can do to help them or do i just have to wait until they heal?

Did you dilute the peroxide with half amount of water?? This really does help bleeding & soreness. I cant imagine being allergic to it. It sounds like you irritated it more by over using the peroxide. The dead skin around your teeth, sounds like its healing. I would use 1 c. warm water & 1 t. salt and rinse with that only!
