Brand new Compaq Presario internet really really slow?
I just got a Compaq Presario for school yesterday and the internet is really really slow. It takes about 1-2 minutes to load a web page and it is almost impossible to download anything. Half the time it just says webpage is unavailable. The only download I have been able to do is google chrome and it said it would take 1 day to download a 6.4 mb file. Any fixes?

check your internet connection plan the speed of the connection
then check for virus using a good anti-virus.
try reinstalling the driver of the network card.
this sounds more like an internet issue. are you in a dorm because that could be an issue.
