Take the body for life challenge or just get the book and follow it to the "T"
It is written by Bill Phillips and I would highly recommend using EAS supplements and products because they taste good and they actually have the ingredients that it says they have on the box and are not misleading you. Remember 5 meals a day to keep your metabolism up, It can be two regular meals with an additional three shakes throughout the day or vise versa. Workout for 30 to 40 minutes every other day and cardio
on non workout days. DO NOT work the same body part twice in one week! And I would suggest you go to your local track and do 20 to 30 yard sprints at full speed for 20 minutes, with limited breaks in between sprints and all other workouts. Remember get in and get out!
Cut out all white food and ingredients from your diet, Salt, sugar, bread, rice, milk, etc. until you are well educated with nutrition. And remember your portions should never be bigger than your palm or fist, Otherwise known as portion distortion!
Bill Phillips is a Scientist/Bodybuilder who became a best selling writer and entrepreneur. He single handedly took on the bodybuilding world and exposed the frauds and makers of the supplements of some of the biggest names in the business who were falsely selling bogus products. I guess you should not mess with a guy who is a scientist.
Research him and then go for it, it is truly the real thing.
Good Luck!
Well, no. It's not complicated. It's just that it is sooooo easy to screw up. You have to make sure that you are lifting in the right intensity to stimulate the muscles to grow but not over-train it or you will be doing to much damage to be fixed. You have to do enough cardio to burn body fat, but make sure you do it in a way that the body doesn't get use to and hold your progress (you can do this with one cardio workout by the way. You just need to know how). You have to give each muscle group time to build and grow. They usually give each one a week, that's how long it takes the muscles to rest and grow. Although, I read this study on Yahoo news that they found it could take from 2 weeks to 2 months for the muscle to completely rest. It's sound cool and all but I'm sticking with one week, it works for me :P You have to eat enough for you muscles to grow on if you want to get more bulky, and eat less if you want to burn body fat (more muscle definition and getting a six-pack). You can't do both. Do each on it own time. Like I said, after the first 2 weeks it becomes an easy routine. But most likely you will get a week here or there without results because you missed a small detail. If you go to a gym ask an instructor to show you how everything is properly done. If you are doing something (no matter how irrelevant it seems) without asking, most likely you are doing it wrong :P Hope this helps :)
If you are serious about building muscle you have to join a gym. That's the only way you'll have access to all the equipment you'll need. Press ups and sit ups will only take you so far. You need weights, benches, cables, etc. You also need to work your entire body, not just you arms and abs. You'll look pretty silly walking around with huge arms and little tiny chicken legs. Another thing, it's going to take a while to see a real difference. Muscle building is a very slow process, so you need patience and consistancy. It will take a few years but don't worry, just start now and you should notice a difference within a month or two. Good luck.
see how many of each you can do in, say, 5 mins?. Do that number twice a day (morning and evening) and after a few days, increase the number by a bit. Keep doing this and you should notice a big difference.
go on youtube type in arnelfitnessvp
this guy will show you how to get a 6 pack in 16 weeks he did too so its not a sham
