Camera Error? Help! Please!?

I have a cybershot camera. I forget the model number, but it is a 12.1 megapixel camera with 5x zoom. I dropped the camera on a table when the camera was on and the lens/barrel was sticking out. Now it does not extend fully by itself and gives a lens error. The top outermost lens is tilted, being more in from one side. I push it back into place, but it does not stay straight. The camera is out of warranty and I don't want to send it out as it will cost more to repair than the camera is worth. Is something like a screw loose in the lens/barrel? Can I open the camera and "screw" the loose screw or whatever it is back in, so the camera lens/barrel is straight and can open/close with no problem? It is a point and shoot camera. I need to know what the inside of a camera lens looks like too, so I know where the screw is. The outermost part of the lens/barrel is wobbly and since it tilts to one side, it gets stuck. Again can I fix this by opening the camera? Thanks!
