can a normal computer printer be set to a portable laptop?
see i want to buy a printer (i dont have one)...for my laptop...and i wondered if i need a special printer brand or model ...and if i need any softwaret...my laptop brand is HP compaq...

Almost all printers available today use a USB connection for connecting to your laptop or computer.
You will just have to plug in the cable into you laptop when you are ready to print
Any printer brand would work with your laptop. The software for the printer comes with the printer so no need to worry about that.
Any printer can fit a lap top....at least my old printer works perfectly OK with my new lap top.
