I'm anemic, have been ever since I gave birth with major blood loss 6 months ago.
I had a procedure on my ear today, lobe reconstruction where he had to cut it and put it back together. I bled A LOT during and keep bleeding through my stitches at home.
Can anemia make you bleed more?
I have a breast augmentation scheduled for the end of the month and I'm kind of nervous about bleeding too much.

I am not 100% certain on anermia, BUT if you have a bleeding problem, you should definitely run that by your Surgeon and their Anesthesiologist. This is just something that should be discussed before any surgery. It most likely won't change your availability for the procedure, but it's worth noting. Many Surgeons list "Bleeding Problems" on their Medical Check-List that they have patients fill out. I think a small blood sample can be tested to make sure you have the proper clotting factors.
Good luck!
I don't think so, but extra bleeding increases the likelihood of anaemia.
