We believe if science says it must be true Newton has said every action has an equal and opposite reaction Let us understand what is karma In nature everything is a system if you go against it your balance is affected Then nature has made inbuilt corrective measures These measures are karma It is not a punishment but necessary for your evolution If you do something against what you believe is right you have to experience agitations Therefore my guru said you are not punished for your sins you are punished by your sins Further if there is no Karma how can all loving god make one born healthy in a rich family the other handicapped and poor
Hitler got his "karma" AFTER he had over 11 million human beings murderered... Im sorry but the mainstream idea of karma is bullshit. But if we look at the Buddhist idea of karma, we can see that it makes perfect sense. In essence, they believe karma is when one does a certain thing and it is observed any understanding being (including themselves), the consequence is reflective to that original action. (note the difference between what you think of karma and Buddha really meant... It has nothing to do with good and bad.)

If you go around killing people I guarantee bad things will happen to you.

Hello Miss B.
Karma is about ones responsibility to oneself for actions taken and there correctness
for ones eternal spirit.
-----
One is responsible for every thought, every word, every deed/action and the effect on ones spirit
and the effect to all other spirits.
-----
-----------------------
Use of the word karma gained popular usage in Western Society many decades ago and
was considered very avant-garde at that time.

Karma is the same as:
What Goes Around Comes Around
and
You Reap what you Sow....
If the good is sown, the good is collected. When positive things are made, that returns well.
