Can Companies See Your Last Jobs?
If jobs are asking for your social security number, do they have access to see your previous job records? to indicate if you got fired, laid off, quit?? or is it just for criminal & tax purposes?

Of course not. There is no such thing as a "previous job record".
Yes they can but only If it requires a background check, any employer can see your past jobs so for the idiot that said theres no such thing needs to do research!!
All of my employers were able to see my past jobs, one employer had my background check/past jobs right n his hand while he was interviewing me
