Which ones? The magically reanimated corpses, or the virus / chemical mutants? You didn't say.
I don't think either of them can run though. Running takes a lot of coordination, and zombies don't really have much of that.
The magic-zombies wouldn't be motivated enough to run, that's for sure. Those zombies don't breathe or eat or think about anything, so they don't have any reason to run from or after anything. They just obey the evil Bokor's commands, and they don't seem to be in any hurry.
The virus-zombies might be able to run, but they wouldn't be very good at it. It would probably just be a fast stumble, and they'd bash into and trip over stuff. When most of your brain is shut off and the only thought remaining in your mind is hunger, it's kind of hard to concentrate on running.
You never see zombies on a treadmill or hitting the gym, and that's probably why. They can group-dance like nobody's business, though.
Since they are animated corpses, aren't ALL zombies decaying? Most zombies are depicted as walking. I'm not really sure if they even have that much energy in them to run, seeing as they're corpses.

Depends on how far along the rigor mortis is. If whatever made the zombies can somehow combat the rigor mortis, then yes they can run.

Zombies don't exist
unlikely, if the romero movies have thought us anything the dead do not run, they walk. esp if they are decaying, definitely walkers
Rational ---- >>> ZOMBIES DON'T EXIST.
Of course they can, but once they stop they are dead tired!!
