There's all this talk about aliens and creation I thought of a new hypothetical;
is it possible that humans could artificially create an organism made to survive & reproduce on other planets? (And then move it to that planet so it can start it's own civilization)
Update:Also, is it possible to scientifically enhance humans or other earth organisms so they can live on other planets?

You should write some paper-back books about it, enjoy a cult following, (literally) and thirty years from now, you could start your own religion.
Just a thought.
Not really...with nowadays technology scientists can't produce an intelligent organism that can survive in inhabitable planets.
1. It would not be creation - it would be an alteration of matter already in existence.
2. It would not be alien, as we would have formed it.
Maybe in the future. Alien life is supposed to be life not from Earth, alien to us, so it kind of contradicts itself. But it does seem like an interesting idea! (:
well.. we've managed to create artificial life by building a completely new DNA molecule from scratch and inserted it into an empty cell.. So in theory, yes...
It's currently beyond our capabilities, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. Given the rate of advancement of our technology, I'd be surprised if it wasn't possible within a century or so.
We made the first synthetic cell, so in the future we'll be able to create other life.(there's talk of bringing animals we killed off back by using their DNA to make clones)
But unfortunately, religions keep us from doing so because it's "immoral".
we already have but its unfortunately become out of control , its under the name Lady GaGa
however its Alien name is

i don't think so because we only have the power to create our own life- humans. that's it.
if we did do that, they would just be robots that were highly technical. =P
That would be the smartest way to colonize the galaxy, yes.
