Croissants have layers and layers of butter in the dough. You can use that French bread to make lots of other things, but no croissant, sorry.
No. French bread dough is a very lean dough whereas traditional croissant has a lot of butter.
no, I don't think so either - the consistency of french bread is different - heavier than a croissant - which is airy & flaky... good luck!
