I have the full version of photoshop on my mac and i have pictures is Photoshop format that have multiple layers, but when i email the pictures to myself then open them on a PC from my email, the picture looks as it should but the layers aren't there. I have never tried it with a thumb drive and ive heard that works but is there any reason why the layers aren't showing??
Thanks

Is the Photoshop version older than the Photoshop version that created the file?
Try this: Before you save the file next time on the Mac, go into Photoshop's preference settings (Cmd-K), in the 'File Handling' section, set the option 'Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility' to 'Always' (or 'Ask')
A .psd file should open without problems. Perhaps it is being damaged during the emailing as it will pass through many computer systems. Try zipping it (Right click and select Compress on the Mac) and emailing the zip file.
