It most certainly can. Ovulation can occur whenever it wants. I personally don't ovulate the same cycle day each month. Sometimes I ovulate early, sometimes late. Last cycle I ovulated on day 16, and this month I'm on day 10, and going to ovulate tomorrow according to my fertility monitor, and the signs my body is giving me. Ovulating this early is pretty normal for me, last month ovulation was late for me. It happens. Also, the day your period is going to come is determined by ovulation. If you ovulate late, your period wil be late. Same goes for an early ovulation. Ovulation determines the length of your cycle. Good luck to you :)
Yes it can. That's why we have what is called the "Fertile Window" we are supposed to have sex at least every other day during our "Fertile Window" in case we ovulate sooner or later than we expected and to cover our bases.
