So there is this girl at my school named Jazzy, She is a complete *****. She kept leaving my bestfriend voicemails saying it is a good thing her dad died and saying that he wants a whore for a daughter just like her and saying that he is looking down on her frowning. Anyways Since school has started since my bestfriend will not come back due to Jazzys constant harassing I seem to be the one she is targeting now. So Jazzy and her boyfriend recently went and filled out a police report with the school cop towards me blaming me for something someone else did. They said I was cyber bullying them on line. Which I am not. My boyfriend confronted them about it and they told him in a message that they know I had no part in it and they will not change their report. I have the thing printed out from what they said. Is there any way that I can press charges against them for this? Please help me I am so lost and confused.

I'll be honest I'm no legal expert but I do remember learning about some laws in my government class in high school. My answer is yes you can. Take the evidence to your local police station and press charges. What they did is lie (making a false claim) to the police which is a crime. It all depends on your state If they treat it as a misdemeanor or a felony. I don't have any sources because I'm on an iPod but search on google for "making false claims to the police". There are a lot of answers. Hope all goes well.
im sorry to hear and not necessarily it really depends if its a big situation yours seems small im pretty sure if you take it into court the judge wont take it so serious
