Okay. So I went to a school exclusively for dental assisting. My teacher that I had was a drunk. She would go out with some of the students during breaks and have a beer at the local pub across the street. She was going through a divorce with her husband and was more concerned about sharing her personal life and breaking down sobbing than actually teaching us anything. All she "taught" us was what was in the books as far as terminology and things like that are concerned. I knew everything as far as the name of things but as far as the "hands-on" element is concerned, we'd do one thing once and she wouldn't even check if we did it right and we'd move on. Being a dental assistant really isn't rocket science but I was never confident going out onto the field after graduating. I went on a work-in interview and the doctor pulled me aside at the end of the day and told me the only reason he didn't yell at me or tell me to go home was because I seemed eager. He told me they would have had to re-train me from scratch. The commute to the job was about 1 1/12 so it wasn't even worth the gas or traffic (I live in Souther California. HORRIBLE traffic). I feel like I wasted my time AND money.
Why didn't I get out any sooner when i saw the warning signs? Because this teacher seemed pleasant at first until 1-2 months later when it was already too late to drop out.

You should have laid a complaint at the point the teacher actually did these things cos you cant prove anything now after so long. You can try to lay a complaint now citing you only did so to avoid being victimised, but I doubt anything will happen really
