Umm no whoever told you that is a complete and total idiot. Birth control pills do not even contain the same hormones as plan b. Plan b works.to make the uterus very volitile so an egg cant implant. Birth control pills work by increasing your bodys levels of estrogen and pregesterone. By dping this your body is tricked into thinking its pregnant so the ovary does not release any eggs. If youve already jad sex and have no been on birth control.for at least a month the only options you have are plan b or abortion.

I wouldn't suggest doing that

1. Because if it is your own BC you'll be unprotected and thrown off for the rest of the month

2. If its not yours where are you getting it from? I know plan B is expensive but if you're worried just get it. Make the dumbass who didn't wear a condom help you pay

Sweetheart, I don't know, but be careful I would rather see you get plan b knowing that the product is safe-you don't want to overdose and have something bad happen to you. I know u can go to planned parenthood, you used to not need a scrip-so I am not sure,but just picking up the phone to call your nearest planned parenthood office is the way to go, Trust me you will be relieved you called.
