I want to buy track spikes for sprinting this year. For cross country in the fall, I don't want to have to buy new spikes, so can I use the track ones? I read some reviews and they said they are bad for distance, I am just wondering if anyone uses the same spikes? Also, any inexpensive, quality shoes that you know of would be appreciated. Thanks!

Usually sprint spikes will not work for cross country.
A middle distance or distance spike could work, it depends on the spike plate and sole.
Sprint spikes are not good for distances.
Don't run distance in spring spikes-you need a heel to cushion your feet as you run. For Crosscountry get some cc spikes i actually like running in my asics nimbuses a little better because of the gel and the cusion it gives your feet.
Sprint spikes no!!!...... Middle Distance spikes... Yes
no.avoid doing that.
