Hi, I'm Jen, a pharmacy student, and naproxen won't alter the effectiveness of birth control. Naproxen is an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent) that treats pain and swelling. You may have had it's cousin, ibuprofen, before too. I hope you feel better!
