because of your age i mean. there have been alot of times the police have stopped and searched me pulled me over in my car, and they always presume i have drugs on me, and threaten to "take me down the station" if i don't give them my imaginary drugs, all this because i am a young lad. is this not a form of discrimination and illegal??

Yes, they can do so on ground of suspicion. But if you feel that this is being done
by police due to malafied intention. You can lodge a complaint to higher authorities of Police. If results are not positive. You can complaint to vigilance cell of Police Headquarters. They would initiate disciplinary proceeding against all police men responsible for this which may result their dismissal from service. If stil results
are not positive, you can take help of a Lawyer and go to court. Court will
order to take legal action against police men . In addition to legal action, Court will
also direct department to take departmental action against these police men.. .
Age discrimination is still discrimination, but I don't think there's a legal precedent for it.
