Will it be ok if someone picks up a firearm (AR 15) that was sunt to my local FFL dealer? I bought it offline and somthing came up so im out of town for 2 weeks.
No. They have to fill out a federal firearms form for a background check on the person who ordered it to transfer it to them. And they won't hold the gun for two weeks either unless you talk really persuasively. That long and the dealer usually has to take actual possession and they won't. They'll send it back.
I would say NO, because the gun is not registered in his name. It could be even worse if he doesn't have a license to carry. If he got stopped for a traffic violation then he may end up in jail.
