I'm afraid I'm in the same boat, so won't be much help. The URL worked fine until a couple of weeks ago, and now, nothing. I've checked my "hosts" file, firewall... everything. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd sure appreciate the help, too! Thanks in advance!

UPDATE - 10/30/09: I'm in! Back in late May gaytorrent sent an email to all account holders with directions to update their "hosts" file. In desperation, I went back into the file and deleted the added hosts. Voila! I'm back in. Just in case you deleted that original email and can't remember where to find the "hosts" file...

Find the file "hosts" (without apostrophes) on your computer.

You can find it (in older Windows versions like Win 98 or WIN ME) in %WinDir%\ or in Win2090/NT4 in %windir%\system or in Win XP/VISTA in %Windir%\system32\drivers\etc

usually you find it here: C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\

just open the 'hosts' file that directory with notepad.

Delete these lines:

85.17.52.63 www.gaytorrent.ru

85.17.52.63 gaytorrent.ru

85.17.52.63 tracker.gaytorrent.ru

85.17.52.63 forum.gaytorrent.ru

85.25.147.202 irc.gaytorrent.ru

File, save.
