i remember one celeb said she saw her mum's face up in da sky when she was young at summer camp. Anyways im not sure if this was really ghost related but i had several experience. i remember one time i was laying on da couch in the living room & it was late night my brother was sleeping on da couch too & i could see him but we were the only ones in the house. As I was resting on the couch all of a sudden I could feel a really strong sense that a man was standing behind the couch i was laying on like he is just staring at me. I was so afraid to look back or get up I just stayed on the couch but my heart was pumping with fear because I felt like there was this tall man behind me & I can still see my brother sleeping but behind me I could not explain. This lasted about a few minutes & then all of a sudden I felt it was gone.
Another story was that I was dreaming something and I was still dreaming while I was sleeping, this was about 3 PM maybe, I was all by my self locked in my room and then all of a sudden my dream i was having just stopped and I could hear this voice that i knew was from the outside of my sleep even though i was still dream but the sounds from the dream just stopped for the sake of this explainable voice that was speaking in front of me so vaguely, i knew for sure this wasn't from my dream but from the physical realm but i could not understand what it was saying. i think it was in-distinctive language but i could definitely hear it right in front of my face, this lasted for about more 3 minutes then right after i was fully awake

*Sleep paralysis is a phenomenon in which people, either when falling asleep or wakening, temporarily experience a sense of inability to move, similar to when an arm or leg goes to sleep, but not associated with numbness. More formally, it is a transition state between wakefulness and rest characterized by complete muscle atonia (muscle weakness). It can occur at sleep onset or when awakening. It is believed a result of disrupted REM sleep, which is normally characterized by complete muscle atonia that prevents individuals from acting out their dreams*
Some people commonly reported experiencing (including hallucination) a presence of a:
demonic/evil/ghost/ even "incubus" encounters, alien abduction, often resulting with the feeling of an intruder being in your room. In some cases people have out-of-body experiences as well...
Experience seeing, hearing, and feeling the presence of something paranormal/supernatural/evil definite intruder. For over a year, it continued every night between 2am-4am (which happens to be considered the 'Witching Hours'.) I would start becoming conscious mentally, open my eyes, being able to see & hear while my body was still in a sleep state. I would open my eyes after hearing and feeling a deep male voice whispering in my ear, soon I would be able to open my eyes to a dark figure hovering over me calling my name out. Making me feel as if it wanted me, but not my physical body, almost as if it was after my "soul" or wanted me to become "one" with him, I would be physically paralyzed, but my sense's such as seeing, hearing, feeling of an actual presence, and mental consciousnesses was aware, trying to get my body to wake up! Eventually I would be able to jerk myself awake & I would instantly run & leave the bed room light on tiI I was able to fall back asleep. It went away, or took what it needed.., that was 7 years ago. My mind is still fighting it's own battles, but nothing super natural, as severe as that still. occurs once in a blue moon.
It Was Scary Stuff!
Your dreaming thing does sound like sleep paralysis. Look it up on wikipedia. I have had a few of those and they are crazy. I kind of want it to happen again. Very vivid and strange. Felt so real. In one I was walking in a semi familiar house when I heard breaking glass. It sounded so real. Then an earthquake happened and more glass breaking. Then I think I woke up but could not move and felt like someone had broke into my house and Like the guy above said it felt like an intruder. I still could not move and was scared. I was looking around my room and it looked so different than normal. In another one I had someone screming very loud like they were dying and it scared the hell out of me..
Well faces in the sky are an easy one, people are hardwired to see faces, and if your actively thinking about something, your more likely to make associations with what you see around you, most religious experiences happen to coincide with a person's previously held beliefs for instance.
In terms of feeling a presence while in a sleeping position, that's common. its generally referred to as sleep paralysis.
technology is going to fail you on lots of this one. The footsteps are one concern, because of the fact a) you will possibly be able to desire to confirm evidence that the upstairs is empty and b) homes make those noises all on their own. The footstep concern feels like greater of a organic incidence. yet as for the different stuff, that's the place the 'logical' motives arise short. doors do no longer lock themselves, and products do no longer pass on their own. exterior rigidity is needed for the two activity. it somewhat is a medical fact, embraced by using many interior the skeptic community. on the grounds that technology won't be able to clarify that stuff, a minimum of no longer yet, you will might desire to look someplace else on your answer. i assume a real non-believer might accuse your roommate of installation an intricate hoax, or consistent with risk pin it on magnetic disturbances interior the stratosphere. Heck, why no longer pass each of how and phone the entire concern a mass hallucination? i be attentive to those motives are somewhat greater odd than the life of ghosts, yet those human beings will do something to stay interior of their slender container of concept.
If it is a paranormal thing.. this guy could be one of two things.. either he is a spirit that is trying to send you a message or its a s**t-stirring negative entity. What did it sound like? Usually if it sounds evil, it is. But if it doesn't sound evil.. then its probably trying to tell you something.
Yep. Delusion.
If something paranormal can be explained, then it's not paranormal.
In your case, it sounds like you're having dreams, therefore not paranormal.
Not really.
